About

A small studio, shipping across the whole stack.

SmileyTech.mk is my personal brand, based in Skopje, North Macedonia. I've been shipping software since 2014 — starting with mobile games at Game2Be and CrazyLabs, then cross-platform product work at iVote, Loka, Dept, and Valtech.

In parallel I run independent projects: SmileyOS (a bare-metal OS in Rust with its own language), Chartly on the Mac App Store, DevHelper on Mac & Microsoft Store, Trackle.mk, and realizirame.mk. I share what I learn on YouTube and Medium.

What we value

Principles that guide the studio.

These are the things we do by default, not the things we want to put on a page. They show up in every project.

01

Clarity over cleverness

We choose boring, maintainable solutions over clever tricks. Your future maintainers will thank us.

02

Open by default

Templates, starter kits, and teaching material go public unless a client has a genuine reason to keep it closed.

03

Ownership transfer

Every engagement ends with your team able to extend, deploy, and debug the product on their own.

04

Cross-layer craft

If a mobile problem is really a backend problem, we say so. We build across layers to pick the right fix.

05

Teach what we learn

Tutorials on Medium and YouTube are part of the studio's output, not a side project. Writing sharpens shipping.

06

Tight feedback loops

Weekly demos, live previews, and a visible changelog. No big reveals at the end — we ship in public.
